Mike Carnell
Mike is one of the original creators and deployers of Six Sigma Methodologies. Another, and billed as the Father of Six Sigma, Bill Smith, with Mike at Motorola in the early 1980’s were the very Fountainhead of Six Sigma as we know it today. Mike is the Founder of CS International LP, through which he has deployed successful Six Sigma projects and programs all over the world. From GE, BP Oil, Lonmin, Toyota, Allied Signal, to Dow Chemical, Mike is a legend around the world. Now, Mike is ready to share his knowledge with the world to benefit from his incalculable experience.
Mike is a LSSMBB®, Certificate IV Quality Management Assessment, ASQ, a Published Author and a Veteran, USMC.
Sean Thomas
Sean is the founder and CEO of Project Vanguards LLC, founded in 2012. Published in PM World Journal, Sean has managed and consulted on portfolios, programs, and projects around the world. His experience with project management, training, and deployments began while he was in the US Army. A former officer of the Project Management Institute, PMI®, while engaging organizations to aid in successful solution deployment has become specialized in setting up PMO’s, deploying Enterprise Dashboards for Senior Managers in multiple industries, coaching organizations on transforming into more Agile entities.
Sean is a certified LSSBB, PgMP®, PMP®, PMI-ACP®, PMI-RMP®, PMI-PBA®, PMI-SP®, DASSM®, SAFe SA, MBA, a 2-tour combat-veteran and Purple Heart recipient, Capt., US Army (Ret).
Chris Seider
Chris is as passionate about solution deployment as he is about imparting knowledge. Chris is the co-creator of all Vanguards-CS International Lean Six Sigma courses. Chris possesses unparalleled mastery in process organization, continuous improvement, problem identification and solution acquisition, driving business results by transforming complex networks into efficient simplified systems. Chris has consulted and coached countless organizations around the world in areas of Lean, Six Sigma, and TPM for over 20 years. Chris has worked with Mike globally to deploy solutions in the US, Canada, Mexico, China, Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia, and South Africa.
Chris is a LSSMBB®, certified in Minitab, skilled in Microsoft and SAP, and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering.

Pre-Requisites: None (You might consider earning your Lean Six Sigma Green Belt first)
The Lean Six Sigma Black Belt learns to lead problem solving projects and to train and coach project teams. You must be a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt before you may take this course.
This course will prepare you for the IASSC® LSSBB certification exam. IASSC® Exam fee not included.
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt
Pre-Requisites: None (You might consider earning your Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt first, or White Belt)
The Lean Six Sigma Green Belt student learns to assist with data collection and analysis for Black Belt projects. We strongly suggest you be a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt before you may take this course.
This course will prepare you for the IASSC® LSSGB certification exam. IASSC® Exam fee not included.
Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt
Pre-Requisites: None (You might consider earning your Lean Six Sigma White Belt first)
The Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt student learns to review process improvements and participates as a project team member. We strongly suggest you be a Lean Six Sigma White Belt before you may take this course.
This course will prepare you for the Vanguards-CS International LSSYB certification exam. Exam fee included.
Lean Six Sigma White Belt
Pre-Requisites: None. We strongly suggest you begin your Lean Six Sigma Journey here!
The Lean Six Sigma White Belt will learn the basic Lean Six Sigma concepts and can work on solving local problems, and will be ready to be a project team member after their next step of becoming a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt!
This course will prepare you for the Vanguards-CS International LSSWB certification exam. Exam fee included.
