• We meet from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. every Saturday and Sunday.
• 4 hours per Weekend Afternoon
• Live-In-Person Agile classes are available to groups of 3 or more

Course Description

The PMI-ACP® certification is a great step for those who want to show a thorough skillset AND applicative understanding of Agile Principles, Values, Ceremonies, Roles, and Artifacts at the Tactical (Team) Level, and those who hold or plan to pursue the Project Management Professional (PMP®) certification. It’s also a very important part of the future of Project Management. Even the PMP® exam now is 43% Agile/Hybrid Agile Methodology.  The PMI-ACP® exam is 120 questions and it’s absolutely necessary to demonstrate your understanding of everyone’s role on Agile projects. Instead of getting one Role credential (like the Certified ScrumMaster or CSM® through Scrum Alliance) the PMI-ACP® shows understanding and mastery of ALL tactical roles.  And knowledge is power.  And if managers at every level don’t fully understand how Agile works, then much Agile practiced, regardless of intention and regardless of impassioned advocacy, will be ineffective (we call that “agile smells” when something is non-agile  in an Agile environment) and those projects, programs, and portfolios will be in serious danger.  This course covers all the key areas of required study for the certification exam. This course also offers real-world applications of Agile (Adaptive Project Management) approaches.  You will be able to apply these Principles, Values, Ceremonies, Roles, and Artifacts immediately at work.

There must be an open seat to allow this to happen (most likely we will have a seat for you). There is no other organization that offers this to its students both before and after Exam completion for both credential seekers AND Professional Development Units (PDUs). This is yet another incentive and added bonus to taking our PMI-ACP® (Agile) Exam Prep class.*

You do NOT have to be a full time Agile development team member, project lead, project manager, scrum master, agile coach, or product owner to attain this credential, nor do you have to have many years of experience as an Agile Practitioner. We teach professionals from all backgrounds!
